Schools bask in success of students

It was a day to rejoice for Sanjana Singh of St. John's School DLW. She secured 98.8% in the ISC Class XII exam and topped in Varanasi district.

VARANASI: It was a day to rejoice for Sanjana Singh of St. John's School DLW. She secured 98.8% in the ISC Class XII exam and topped in Varanasi district.
Like Sanjana, several students were seen rejoicing after the results were declared on Monday afternoon putting an end to days of anticipation for both students and guardians.
Khushi Agrawal of St John's School Marhauli scored 97.83% in ISCE class X exam to top in the district.

Her elated father said, "We are all proud of her achievement. She had put in a lot of effort which paid off handsomely."
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the class X (ICSE) and class XII (ISC) 2015 results on Monday, a day after the declaration of UP Board results.
In Varanasi, a total of 1,200 students appeared in ICSE and 900 in ISC exams. While Sanjana Singh was city topper in class XII, Khushi Agarwal topped in class X ICSE exam.
There are seven ICSE/ISC schools in Varanasi district, including St. John's DLW, St. John's Marhauli, WH Smith Memorial School, St. Francis School, Bal Bharti Public School, St. John's School Ledhupur and St Joseph Convent School. All schools claimed that their students had performed well.
