With 95%, Barnita makes auto driver dad proud
Barnita Mondal from the Vijaya Main PU College in Basavangudi has secured 95% in the PCMB stream. Daughter of Tarun Mandal, an autodriver, Barnita lives in a small house at Kasturbanagar. Her mother Bandana is a homemaker. Speaking to Bangalore Mirror, Barnita said she wanted to get above 90%. She started preparing for the exams from January. But she would mostly study at night. “I like to study at night. I would wake up at 1am and study upto 6am.
This has been my routine. Finance was also another challenge, but for the last two years, I am being supported by the Samrudhi Trust. I did not join any coaching class,” she said. But this is not the first time she has secured high marks. This aspiring engineer student had secured 93.32% in Class X as well. She now hopes to get into a top engineering college in Bengaluru and study electronics. She wants to be successful and make her parents proud.
