Jammu, May 18
Satish Nehru, Commissioner Secretary, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Jammu and Kashmir, called on Rigzin Spalbar, Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Leh, at the LAHDC Secretariat today.
The CEC discussed various issues pertaining to the district with the Commissioner Secretary and requested that early action should be taken on the issues.
The issues included sanctioning of pending ration cards for beneficiaries of Leh district, promotion of tehsil storekeepers, enhancing the quota of kerosene and sugar, early sanction release of funds for purchase of a tanker for distribution of kerosene, opening more gas agencies in Leh district and opening petrol pumps at Diskit and Nyoma.
The Commissioner Secretary assured Rigzin Spalbar that early action would be taken regarding the issues raised by the CEC.
