1Ders get #OhNoLiam hashtag trending in about a second following Billboards blooper

Updated

One Direction had one very special person to thank during one of the band's acceptance speeches at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards -- Zayn Malik. Yep. In response to their Top Duo/Group award, Liam Payne thanked his former bandmate, squelching rumors of any bad blood.

Zayn of course left the group last month, much to the disappointment of Directioners around the world.

The remaining four members recently revealed on 'The Late Late Show' that they too were taken aback by Zayn's sudden departure: 'At first, we were a little bit angry, we were surprised. But I think we kind of all knew the general vibe that Zayn was feeling," they said on the show.

But the guys admitted there aren't any hard feelings, and Liam's nod to Zayn in his speech is even more proof of that.

That said, Liam didn't have as much luck during 1D's acceptance speech for Top Touring Artist award. Apparently he got cut off -- hard. And his bandmates' reactions were perhaps the best part. Directioners got the incident trending on Twitter in about two minutes flat with the glorious hashtag #OhNoLiam.
