Darshan Didar Yatra Proceeds To Its Next Destination After Night Halt At Moga

The Darshan Didar Yatra, a unique initiative of the Punjab Government and Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) for the darshan of the relics of three Sikh Guru's today proceeded for its next destination after night halt at Moga. The yatra had halted at Guru Nanak College, Moga last night and it proceeded towards its destination at around 9 am today. On the occasion, Agriculture Minister Jathedar Tota Singh presented Siropa's to the Panj Piara's and Giani Jaswant Singh performed Ardas on the occasion. A contingent of Punjab Police also gave guard of honour to the yatra.  While speaking on the occasion, Jathedar Tota Singh thanked the Punjab government and SGPC for organising this unique Darshan Didar Yatra. He said that people who cannot go to Sri Anandpur Sahib for Darshan's of relics of Sikh Guru's can do so here.

 After starting from Guru Nanak College, Moga, the yatra passed through Lande Ke, Luhara Chowk, Luhara, BIS College Gagra and reached Kot Isse Khan. It would then enter Ferozepur district from Zira and after passing through Makhu, it would halt for night at Harike Pattan. Prominent among those present on the occasion included MLA Mr Joginder Pal Jain, MLA Bibi Rajwinder Kaur Bhagike, SAD District President Jathedar Tirath Singh Mahla, Mayor Mr Akshit Jain, Chairman of Punjab Health System Corporation Mr Barjinder Singh Brar, all SGPC members from the district, Deputy Commissioner Mr Parminder Singh Gill, SSP Mr Hardyal Singh Mann, SP (H) Mr Harjit Singh Pannu, ADC Mr Arvind Pal Singh Sandhu, ADC (D) Mr Jatinder Pal Singh, Mr Ranwinder Singh Pappu Ramoowalia, circle president Mr Kuldip Singh Jogewala, Mr Gurminderjit Singh Bablu, Mr Rajinder Singh Dalla, SDM Mrs Surinder Kaur, besides several others.
