Bandar Revenue Divisional Officer P. Saibabu and his team identified the government land close to national highway 216 passing via Machilipatnam following directions from the local MP, MLA and Krishna Collector.

Excise and BC Welfare Minister K. Ravindra, Machilipatnam Member of Parliament K. Narayanana had on Friday discussed with Collector Babu A. on the availability of government land to develop a sports stadium in and around Machilipatnam.
