NC Minority Cell discusses demands of displaced people

JAMMU, May 15: NC Minority Cell in a meeting held under the chairmanship of ex MLC Vijay Bakaya discussed various problems of the displaced people.
As per a release, the meeting urged the Relief and Rehabilitation Minister to look into these problems.
M K Yogi, working president of the Cell said that the displaced people are facing problems due to non availability of ration cards both in camp as well as non camp locations.
The meeting appealed both Minster of Relief and Rehabilitation as well as Relief Commissioner to adopt a human approach for bifurcation of ration cards as promised earlier. It urged the Government to make safe and secure arrangements for the Kheer Bhwani pilgrims and other shrines during the Jesht Ashtami festival.
The meeting among others was attended by Bal Krishan Bhat , Amit Koul, Kuldeep Pandita, Bushan Lal Bhat , Ved Lal, Ramesh Bharti, Bittu Ji Bhat etc.
