There’s buzz that Delnaaz Irani, who plays Resham chachi in Jamai Raja, has quit. The actress is hardly seen on the show these days.

When we contacted her, she said, “I have not officially quit, but you can say that I am not a part of the show as of now. I am doing another show Akbar Birbal and that also requires a lot of work. The set is in Naigaon and I had to shuffle between the two sets, which is not an easy task. I also needed time for myself. Secondly, my character sketch, as Resham chachi, was not very clear.But you never know if something interesting might come up again in the future.”
