Pak fires smalls arms, violates truce in Jammu

JAMMU:
After a long spell of lull, Pakistan troops today yet again violated the ceasefire by firing smalls arms in Arnia Sub-Sector of this winter capital.
”Pak troops this evening at around 1820 hrs fired two rounds of Small Arms from their Paswan Border Outpost to BSF’s Border Outpost Tent Guard in Arnia Sector,” an official here said. He said,  own troops did not retaliate while no loss or injury was reported in the firing.
Earlier alert troops of Border Security Force foiled an infiltration bid along the international border in Kathua district. ”Own troops during wee hours noticed a suspicious movement near Chor Gali Border Outpost in Kathua and opened fire,” added official sources .
They said  the troops first fired six rounds of small arms and later of LMG on seeing the suspects. ”The suspects escaped following firing by BSF,” they added and said  an attempt of infiltration was successfully foiled. (AGENCIES)
