Sunrisers Hyderabad head coach Tom Moody said Royal Challengers Bangalore has become a very strong team after the adjustments it has made to its batting.
“We have played well against RCB at home in the past, and hope to continue the good work,” said Moody.
“It is important for me and the other support staff to ensure that the players don’t get too much into the various permutations as the IPL, like last year, is witnessing a close fight for a berth in the play-offs. It will be interesting to watch these final games,” he added.
“The match against RCB is not about individuals. Warner is the Orange Cap holder and we hope he keeps it. We are glad that one player or the other has been chipping in with useful contributions, like the quickfire knock Rahul played against Kings,” said Moody.
“We are lucky to have someone like Bhuvneshwar [Kumar] who is very good with the new ball, and also in the death overs. The way he bowls his slower ball as well as the yorkers is terrific,” said the Australian.
“Like last year, it is a good batting surface here and we are enjoying the conditions," Moody said about the wicket.
