Resolve border issue with China, Satpal appeals to PM

In a statement issued here today, BJP national executive member Satpal Maharaj has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address border land dispute of Niti Mana villages with China. The villages in the state shared borders with Tibet and parts of their land falls in the jurisdiction of Tibet. He said the inhabitants of these villages had close trade links with Tibet, which had now been disrupted causing a lot of problems for them.

He said the Central and state governments had so far failed to redress their concerns. He appealed to Modi to take up the issue with China during his visit to the country.
