Tanuja, Kajol, Tanishaa come together for Breast Cancer Awareness

Mumbai, May 13 (IBNS) Veteran actress Tanuja along with her daughters Tanishaa Mukerji and Kajol Devgn attended an event commemorating a partnership between Orchids Breast Health Center and Siemens Healthcare, India.

The ladies, through the Prashanti Cancer Care Mission, have been actively supporting and championing the cause of breast cancer awareness.

At the event, the three gorgeous ladies along with a panel consisting of renowned Indian doctors discussed the new technology, introduced at the Orchids Breast Health Center, Pune that will result in early breast cancer detection among many other things.

Tanishaa Mukerji, who dedicated last Diwali to breast cancer awareness, believes that early detection will help save many more lives. She says, “With the increase in awareness, women in India are starting to understand the importance of getting tested. I think this brilliant technology is revolutionary step forward towards prevention.”

Prashanti Cancer Care Mission is a non-profit NGO and the ladies are strong supporters of the same. In an association with Orchids Breast Health Center, the mission has established a training institute in Pune ‘International School of Oncoplastic Surgery’ collaboration with senior faculty from Association of Breast Oncosurgoens, UK and University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK.
