Karachi terror: Timeline of bus attacks
At least 43 people were killed when Jundullah, a splinter group of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on May 13 attacked a passenger bus.
Below are the list of bus attacks in Karachi
2002: At least 13 people were killed and 40 injured when a suicide bomber attacked a bus on May 8 carrying French naval engineers from their hotel to where they were working on the submarines sold to Pakistan in a deal.
2011: Two Navy personnel were among four killed and several inured in two separate terrorist attacks targeting Navy buses on April 26.
2011: At least five people were killed and 15 others sustained injuries after bomb planted on a roadside exploded when a Pakistan Navy bus was passing in the Karsaz area on April 28.
TTP splinter group claims responsibility for Karachi bus attack
2012: At least two people were killed and 18 others injured after a bicycle bomb exploded on July 11. Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) bus was targeted in the blast near Hub Chowki.
2014: 13 policemen were died and 57 others left injured when bomb targeting Police Commando bus went off on February 13.
2015 - Two policemen were killed and 15 injured when a bomb explosion ripped through their bus on March 27.
