Fenerbahce drew 1-1 against SAI Kayseri Erciyesspor on Wednesday night as they failed to close the gap with leaders Galatasary to just a point in the Turkish Spor Toto Super League.

The game at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul saw Fenerbahce take an early lead through centre-back Egemen Korkmaz in the 2nd minute. Kayseri's Cameroonian striker Jacques Zoua scored the equaliser just four minutes later.

With three games remaining, Fenerbahce are in second place on 67 points while Galatasaray have 70 points.

Third-placed Besiktas, on 65 points, play at Akhisar Belediyespor on Thursday to take them into the three-game run-in. Kick-off is at 19.45 local time (1745 GMT).
