International nurses’ day celebrated

‘International nurses’ day-2015’ was celebrated at Gandhi Medical College (GMC) and Bhopal Memorial hospital and research centre (BMHRC) here on Tuesday.

BHOPAL: ‘International nurses’ day-2015’ was celebrated at Gandhi Medical College (GMC) and Bhopal Memorial hospital and research centre (BMHRC) here on Tuesday.
Around 100 students from participated in the programme at BMHRC. Registrar of MP Nursing Council Professor Angoori Singh and BMHRC director Dr Manoj Pandey were present.
Trained nurses association of India MP Branch awarded Sr Jeena FCC, (principal St.
Joseph Nursing College, Hoshangabad) for excellence in nursing at a ceremony in GMC. As many as 15 nurseswere awarded for excellent work in nursing services.
Day marks the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, who is known as the founder of modern nursing. The day is being celebrated since 1965.
