Reality TV star and model Courtney Stodden has agreed to release her solo sex tape to porn company Vivid Entertainment for the sum of $1 million, which she says will be donated to various charity organizations.
The 20-year-old admitted to TMZ her sole purpose in selling the tape is because it was hijacked by one of her friends who “made it clear that he will stop at nothing to double-cross me.”
“I’ve been painted into a corner,” she said.
Stodden announced she does not wish to keep any of the proceeds and that she plans to donate 100 percent of it to charity.
According to TMZ, she is leaning towards animal rights groups or “children with cancer.”
Stodden received widespread criticism in 2011 after she married 51-year-old The Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison when she was only 16 years old.
The young woman has since participated in various reality TV shows.
Stodden acted as a contestant in the twelfth season of the British version of Celebrity Big Brother in 2013.
She also appeared in an episode of the Reelz reality television series Hollywood Hillbillies later that year.
