Sangram Singh and Payal become Dharmendra and Hema
The participants of the current season of 'Nach Baliye', wrestler turned actor Sangram Singh and his fiance, Payal Rohatgi are having a whale of a time on the dance reality show while donning the garb of various actors. This time the dancing duo have imitated Dharmendra and Hema Malini, where Payal is essaying the character of 'Basanti' from the film, 'Sholay'.
While we have learnt from sources that Sangram is not a born dancer and has never before taken to the skill of dancing, he is in fact struggling very hard to beat competition.
And maybe that is why he has chosen to dance to the numbers of the legendary actor Dharmendra and match steps with him. "Dharmendra was also a sturdy man, like Sangram, whose dancing skills were not as fine as those of his competitors in the industry. Yet, Dharamji made a niche for himself and is a legend today. Sangram is also doing the steps of the song Yamla Pagla Deewana, which is reminiscent of the way Dharamji danced," says the source.

It was told to us that Sangram has even surpassed his various injuries to learn dance steps for the show. "Being a wrestler Sangram has few serious injuries like a hamstring tear and rib fractures. But he is doing all the dance moves for the show with a lot of effort and hard work. Payal is the leading motivator for his moves," says the source.
In one sequence in the show, Sangram turns into the ghost of a warrior who is killed in war and whose soul returns to dance with Payal.
