Kuznetsova returns to Top 20

Paris - Russia's two-time Grand Slam winner Svetlana Kuznetsova has returned to the WTA Top 20 on Monday after her run to the final of the Madrid Open at the weekend.

The 2004 US Open and 2009 French Open winner jumped 11 places to number 18 after finishing runner-up to Czech Petra Kvitova in the Spanish clay-court tournament which was her first final since 2009.

American Serena Williams continues to dominate the women's rankings (10,156 points) ahead of Romanian Simona Halep (7 115) and Maria Sharapova (6 915). Kvitova (6 670) is closing in on Sharapova in fourth.

Polond's Agnieszka Radwanska drops out of the Top 10 after her early elimination in Madrid an now sits on 13th position, with Germany's Andrea Petkovic moving up one spot to ninth and Spaniard Carla Suarez Navarro jumping two to tenth.
