FFT secures new LNG contract

Future Fibre Technologies Ltd (FFT) has signed a new perimeter security contract for the provision of services at a Queensland LNG facility.

The contract is valued at AUS$938 000. LNG security represents a growing segment for FFT, with this recent contract bringing the total value of Queensland security contracts to AUS$2.1 million over three years.

Commenting on the award, CEO Rob Broomfield said: “We are proud to have secured this new contract of the eve of our ASX debut and believe this latest win speaks to the momentum in our business and the continued opportunities that exist in Queensland’s LNG sector.

“FFT is committed to the ongoing development of sophisticated fibre optic sensing technologies, harnessing the talent of our highly skilled staff, and applying our innovative technology to protect high value assets and critical infrastructure around the globe.”

FFT shares commence trading on 11 May on the ASX, following an initial public offering of 30 million shares in the company (valued at 70 cents per share) to raise AUS$21 million for growth capital.
