LAHORE - A woman and taxi driver lost their lives while another received serious injuries in road side accident in Gulberg police station limits on Saturday.
According to police sources, Razia was heading her home with her brother-in-law Saqlain on motorcycle when all of sudden a rashly driven car hit their motorcycle. Razia and a passerby Zafar were killed on the spot while Saqlain received serious injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was stated to be critical till filing of this report.
Car driver Ali Shafqat, an MMBS doctor, was arrested by police who was over-speeding.  After hitting the motorbike and the passerby, his car had rammed into an electronics shop. A case has been registered against the doctor under section 322, 279, 427 and 337 PPC.
