Qadsia SC against Al-Nasr
KUWAIT, May 9 (KUNA) -- Qadsia SC beat Al-Nasr 84-60 on Saturday and advanced to Kuwait Basketball Association's (KBA) Cup final, where it was due to meet rival Kuwait SC next Tuesday.
Qadsia had no problem outmatching Al-Nasr since the jump ball and cruised their way to the final smoothly.
Qadsia will be playing against Kuwait SC, which beat Al-Jahra 113-90.
The final showdown will be a repeat of the KBA premier league, when Kuwait won the best of three series against Qadsia.
The KBA Cup has two groups, the first consisted of Kuwait, Al-Arabi, Al-Nasr, Kazma, Shabab and Al-Yarmouk, while the second consisted of Qadsia, Sulaibikhat, Al-Jahra and Al-Sahel.
Qadsia won the cup 24 times. Kuwati and Al-Arabi won it nine times each. Kazma and Al-Jahra has two each under their belt, while each of Al-Sahel Al-Nasr won it once. (end)
