According to a complaint filed by Nadil’s wife Kausar Khan, a resident of M G Road, Pune Camp, at the Khopoli police station, about 21 members of the Khan family went to Alibag from Pune on Sunday morning in three cars. While returning in the evening, a speeding vehicle overtook Nadil’s car dangerously. After some time, their vehicles were stuck in traffic jam near Khandala bridge on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway.

Here, Nadil allegedly saw the car that had overtaken his vehicle before. When he confronted the driver of the car, he got angry and allegedly attacked Nadil with a sharp weapon. When Uzair went for his help, he was also attacked. Nadil and Uzair were injured and later admitted to a hospital for treatment.
