PUNE: The first meeting of the newly-formed Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) will be held on the premises of the Pimpri-Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA) in Akurdi at 11am on Monday.
“The meeting will discuss about the development plan for PMRDA, roles and responsibilities of its members,” said Mayor Dattatraya Dhankawade on Thursday. The PMRDA will have 25 members, including district collector, president of the Pune Zilla Parishad, PMC and PCMC mayors among others. It comprises Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal corporations, the Pune, Khadki and Dehu Road cantonments and 100 other census towns and villages.
