HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met on Thursday at his Office at Al Bahar Palace with UAE Deputy National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed al-Nahyan and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
At the outset of the meeting, they conveyed greetings of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan to HH the Emir, wishing him good health and happiness and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.
For his part, HH the Emir wished the best of health to the UAE President and further progress and prosperity to the UAE people.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the fraternal relations between the two countries and means of enhancing and promoting them in addition to a number of regional and international issues.
The meeting was attended by HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani.
On the UAE side, the meeting was attended by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Hammad al-Shamsi.
