Topper prefers medicine

J.Sarika Natesh, student of Jeeva Velu Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Tiruvannamalai who secured 1,184 marks is the became district topper. She said that she wants to pursue medicine and specialise in oncology.

Though her first preference is medicine, she has cleared IIT Joint Entrance Exam-Main.

She wants to appear for the advanced level to test her skills, she said in a post results press meet held at the school.

She was a district topper in SSLC and was a student of the same school. She attributed her success to the school management. “The teachers conducted tests and helped me to solve papers. Also our school did not skip plus one syllabus,” she said.
