Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon to star in 'Half Girlfriend'?

New Delhi: After the success of all Chetan Bhagat adaptations, his book 'Half Girlfriend' too was bound to be taken up by Bollywood. Speculations about who will be cast as the lead have been rife ever since the release of the book. 

We now hear that Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon may be roped in to play the lead. In 2014, rumours were doing the rounds that Mohit Suri may be directing the film and reports were that Alia Bhatt may be the one to be cast as the female lead. Chetan Bhagat himself had posted about Suri being roped in to helm the film.

But the gossip vines are at it again and the Kriti - Varun pair maybe seen on screen for more than one movie. Rohit Shetty's upcoming movie 'Dilwale', which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, also has the duo. 

While the on screen pair is sure to be appreciated, let's see whether their chemistry will be accepted by the audience or not.
