Khaps, BJP flays K’shetra MP for anti- Jat stance

Kurukshetra May 6

While the chief of the women wing of the Sarva Jat Sarva Khap Mahapanchayat Santosh Dahiya has sought a public apology from Kurukshetra MP Rajkumar Saini for his statements against Jats, BJP leaders too have expressed their resentment.

Criticising the MP, Dahiya said “Saini has forgotten that he has been elected by all the communities. He has been instigating the backward classes against us which is a serious offense.”

“It is surprising that he has been disturbing the communal harmony but has not been pulled up by PM Narendra Modi,” he added.

On the other hand, a senior office bearer of the district unit of the BJP Ravinder Sangwan said, “The party has respected the Jats by inducting several ministers and office bearers from the community. In Kurukshetra both Jats and Saini’s have a good rapport and the MP’s statements was creating unnecessary friction between both the communities.” — TNS
