Relief for Nepal

Vijaya Bharathi Rangarajan, President FICCI FLO Chennai Chapter, announced that the institution will be joining other agencies in providing immediate relief to those ravaged by the earthquake in Nepal. Expressing profound sadness at the thousands of lives lost, Dr. Vijaya underlined that all efforts are being made to send medical aid to those affected.

A total of 32 boxes of medical supplies including IV fluids and antibiotics have been sent. A drive to collect donations has also been initiated. A cheque for around Rs. 4 lakh has been mobilised by the institution which will be directed through FICCI in Delhi to contribute to the Nepal Relief Fund.

To spread more awareness, the FICCI FLO Chennai Chapter also organised an event in the city.
