Going beyond the art and craft sessions and catering to the diverse needs of children, a few craft workshops offer tailor-made training programmes to help participants channelise their imagination into creative pursuits.

Summer vacation for some means unlocking their creative potential. However, it is also the right time for entrepreneurs to roll out a host of fun-filled activities in different packages.

Staying in tune with the growing demand for artworks in the city, Little Elly, The concept pre-school, is conducting an ‘Arts and Crafts Workshop and Multi-Activity Summer Camp’, starting May 7.

Along with abacus, Vedic maths, non-toxic clay modelling, drawing class and a range of customised skill development programmes that focus on table etiquette, time management and resolving conflicts for all age groups, a comprehensive personality development programme has been crafted to empower homemakers. “From managing the monthly budget to planning a low-calorie diet and developing communication skills, ‘Housewives Special’ has 30 sessions, packing many interesting features required for a smart homemaker,” explains Krishna Akella, content developer and personality development trainer at Little Elly.

Participants can either opt for weekly or daily sessions and details can be had over contact No: 8978768686.

12-day workshop

To keep pace with the evolving trends in craftworks, Shilpa Naren of Craftsly is conducting a 12-day workshop for children. Focusing on a variety of craftworks such as sospeso artwork, punch craft, keychain making, paper quilling, clay moulding and painting, the workshop offers a selection of crafts to suit diverse needs. “Children tend to get bored very fast. A certain level of dexterity is required to keep them glued to the session all along. And the reason why I have included a variety of crafts is to make the workshop as interesting as possible,” says Shilpa. Her next workshop is scheduled to begin from June 15.
