Jennifer Lopez paid tribute to the late Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, who was killed twenty years ago, at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday.
Lopez took to the stage in a light pink ruffled top and pants combo, as well as other outfits inspired by the style of the Tejano music legend, to sing a medley of Selena's hits, including "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom," "I Could Fall In Love," "Como La Flor," "No Me Queda Mas," and "Amor Prohibido." She was backed by Selena's family band Los Dinos, which featured Selena's brother A.B. Quintanilla, sister Suzette Quintanilla-Arriaga, and widower Chris Pérez.
After the performance, Lopez—who played Selena in the 1997 biopic of the singer directed by Gregory Nava--thanked Selena.
