“We have approached schools and colleges across that state including Surat, Valsad, Anand, Ahmedabad and other cities. We are expecting participation from high school students, youth, student leaders and young professionals who are passionate about social change at the macro level,” said Shashwat Bulusu, co-cordinator of the event.“The day-long parliament will witness student speakers and participants deliberating with the panelists that include prominent political leaders and social activists that include Anna Hazare, Kumar Vishwas, Dr Subramanian Swamy and Maulana Rizvi among others,” added Bulusu, a law student at M S University.
“The topics that will be discussed at the parliament include ‘Religion in storm or storm in religion’ and ‘Does entertainment bring about a social change’ wherein the participants and speakers will brainstorm on the various issues plaguing the state and the country at large,” added Bulusu.“At the end of the parliament, a report will be prepared that will include the deliberations and suggestive solutions discussed at the event.
