Boys from Bhanpur, Dabra bag prizes at arithmetic competition

INDORE: Harshit Jadiya from Burhanpur and Sanskar Gupta from Dabra won ‘Champions of Champion’ title at state-level arithmetic competition of Universal Concepts of Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS), which was held at Emerald Heights International School, Indore, on Saturday.
Prize distribution ceremony was organized at Ravindra Natya Grah on Sunday in which 36 students were given champions award, 47 students were first runners-up, 51 students were second runners-up and 65 students bagged third runner-up prize.

Chief guest at the award ceremony was UCMAS master from Mumbai franchise CD Mishra. Harshit and Sanskar were given Rs 11,000 in prize money for their achievement in the state-level competition. Meanwhile, UCMAS, Madhya Pradesh, was awarded ‘Best course instructors’ award. Also, 500 UCMAS students, those who have completed their UCMAS course, participated in graduation ceremony held at award function.
