INDORE: A speeding Honda Civic car crashed into a roadside restaurant in front of Shalimar Township on Sunday morning. However, the two men inside it sustained only light injuries thanks to the safety air balloons of the car that opened in time with the impact of collision.
The accident took place at around 6am when the speeding car, on way from Vijay Nagar towards Dewas Naka, hit three electric poles one after another and then crashed into the Malwa restaurant.

With the restaurant being closed in the morning, no loss was reported inside. According to local residents, the two men vanished from the spot to avoid any police action. The car was badly mangled in the accident, but police is yet to trace the owners or those who were seated inside the vehicle. Further investigations are underway.
