Body donated to medical college

The body of a 50-year-old woman, identified as T.S. Shashikala alias Sudha, was donated on Saturday to the Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) on Bengaluru-Mysuru highway, as per her wish. Ms. Sudha was one of the trustees of the Cauvery College of Engineering and she was living in Chamundeshwari Nagar here. Her husband T. Nagendra, sons K.N. Nisarga and K.N. Prakrith, family members, relatives and friends were present.

Pushpa Sarkar, MIMS Director, said family members of Ms. Sudha contacted the hospital and donated the body.
