Over time, “Superfoods” have become a craze and changed the way people live their lives. The superfoods are known as a type food that is packed with minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. The foods we eat, how much we and how we eat them, as well as how we look and feel as a result of eating them. Health is a major issue in the United States and around the world. The role of antioxidants and other beneficial compounds that change our moods and behaviors are important. This is the modern way of eating superfoods that are healthy and make others feel great.

When we buy foods we need to pay attention to nutrient intake such as vitamins A, C, D, E, K, B12, and B6, which are some of the more important ones on the package. Also, there is the mineral intake of each food package, such as calcium, zinc and potassium to name a few. As everything in life, there must be a balance. The role of antioxidants and other beneficial compounds that change our moods and behaviors are important.

One of my favorite fruits and juices is the Pomegranate, a fruit that was originated in Persia (the country now known as Iran). It was first referred to as the symbol of fertility. Today we see it as a fruit with a lot of antioxidants. One of the most popular forms of Pomegranate is used in juices with natural sugars and seeds. Pomegranate juice is an excellent source of vitamin K, folate, potassium, and manganese, as well as a good source of vitamin E and B6. This is juice is an excellent source of antioxidant. Certain studies show that the juice extract inhibits the growth of breast, prostate, colon and lung cancer cells. The positive aspect is it tastes good for those who love a little tarty in their life. These are the healthy superfoods that make everyone feel great.

Another superfood up for discussion is nuts. The pumpkin seed is a high nutrition food. It is used to help treat bowel syndrome and prostate problems. They are an excellent source of magnesium and zinc, potassium, copper, and iron. They may lower cholesterol levels and are helpful to the prostate gland, so this is especially recommended to men with these issues.

A specific spice known as Tumeric has been used for many purposes such as medical, culinary and religion. Medical and health uses include treating bowel syndromes and digestive disorders. This spice and the major tool is an excellent source of manganese and iron, as well as vitamin B6, fiber, and potassium. It also contains a polyphenol curcumin, which is an antioxidant.

The above listed and discussed superfoods are just some examples of food intake that nutritious. They are recommended to keep everyone looking and feeling great and also work medically to keep the immune system in tune. Each body reacts differently to superfoods as well as foods in general. Some people are allergic to nuts and should find other substitutes to serve the same purposes. Each person should take care of their body so they can function physically, mentally and emotionally. It is important to understand what superfoods are and keep them in your system at all time to avoid illnesses and weaknesses in the body.
