Bal Gopal Kare Dhamaal, Akbar Birbal get new producers

The show Bal Gopal Kare Dhamaalhas changed production hands. Rajesh Chaddha, who produced it initially for about a month, has handed over the reigns to Jay and Kinnari Mehtaa.
Informs a source, “Rajesh didn’t want to continue and that’s how Jay-Kinnari duo came on board. The flavour of the show is now expected to change from subtle to slapstick comedy.”

Incidentally, another show Akbar Birbal on the same channel, too went through a change recently.

Originally produced by Meenakshi Sagar, it was all set to be handed over to producer Abhimanyu Singh. However, the deal fell through at the last stage and it finally went to Nikhil Sinha, who has earlier produced Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev.
