SGPC starts work in Nepal

AMRITSAR: The SGPC has started distributing relief material to the quake affected people in Nepal.



Amritsar, May 1

The SGPC has started distributing relief material to the quake affected people in Nepal. SGPC executive member Rajinder Singh Mehta stated that around 600 to 700 people ate ‘langar’ at Gurdwara Guru Nanak Satsang Darbar at Kathmandu daily. He also said they had started disbursing the relief material among the people there.

Meanwhile, SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar strongly condemned the incident in which Brahman Sabha allegedly took over the ‘sarai’ of Gurdwara Singh Sabha at Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir. — TNS
