He labeled the war against terrorism as a pretext to grab the resources of Muslim world

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Jamiat-e-Ulema Fazl (JUI-F) chief said on Friday that the nation stands united with Saudi Arabia for the defense of holy sites. He said that Pakistan was made in the name of Islam and it would not be allowed to become liberal or secular, reported Dunya News.

Addressing a rally organized for protection of blasphemy of Prophet, protection of holy sites and protection of Maddrassahs, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Pakistan had always proven that its solidarity with its Palestine and Arab brothers.

He labeled the war against terrorism as a pretext to grab the resources of Muslim world.

Moulana Fazlur Rehman said that state institutions and parliament are being used against Maddrassahs.

He said that the sole purpose of National Action Plan is to target Maddrassahs and to label its students as terrorists.

Moulana Fazlur Rehman said that the country’s foundation had been laid as that of an Islamic one and they would not allow it to become liberal or secular.

Addressing the rally, Deputy Chairman Senate and leader of JUI-F Moulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said that JUI-F would never allow blasphemy law to be altered.

Secretary JUI-F Sindh Moulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro also addressed the rally, saying that JUI-F opposes the partition of Sindh and would oppose any such development.
