Nepal quake: Woman rescued from rubble after 128 hours

A 24-year-old woman was rescued alive from rubble of a collapsed building after 128 hours in Nepal’s Gonggabu village on Thursday. The nation was hit by a massive earthquake on April 25, killing more than 5,000 people and leaving nearly 12,000 injured.

Krishna Devi Khadka was rescued by a joint team of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Israeli rescue team from Janasewa Guest House. Khadka was buried under the rubble of the collapsed guest house.

The quake which measured 7.9 on Richter Scale and led to a large scale destruction throughout the nation affecting thousands of people.
