Director-General of Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Mysuru, Rashmi V., has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Food Processing and Harvest Technology.
Ms. Rashmi, who had assumed charge of the ATI in July 2014, was in the news in October when she was assaulted by a group of irate contract employees of the institute.
The assault took place when she went to condole the death of an employee, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances on the institute premises. Subsequently, Ms. Rashmi had convened a press conference and attributed the assault on her to the action she had taken to expose financial irregularities to the tune of Rs. 100 crore during the tenure of her predecessor, Amita Prasad.
Meanwhile, IAS officer M. Lakshminarayana, who has been posted as Principal Secretary to the Government, Health and Family Welfare Department, will also hold concurrent charge of Director-General of ATI, Mysuru.
