Ireland women's squash team lost 3-0 to England in their last pool match at the European Squash Championships in Denmark today, however, the loss was irrelevant as Ireland had already qualified for the semi-finals.
Ireland had already beaten Wales and Spain to book a semi-final spot against France.
Madeline Perry, hero of both of those wins, was rested against England so Aisling Blake, Laura Mylotte and young Ciara Moloney played the English stars, who were all in the top 15 in the world rankings.
The Irish trio each lost their ties 0-3 as England landed a 3-0 whitewash.
The men's team of Arthur Gaskin, Brian O Broin, Michael Craig and Steve Richardson beat Sweden 4-0 and will face either Denmark or Hungary in the semi-finals tomorrow.
