Former BSP MP Kapil Muni Karwaria, brothers surrender in Jawahar murder case

Former BSP MP Kapil Muni Karwaria and his brothers Suraj Bhan Karwaria and Ram Chandra alias Kallu surrendered before the court of additional chief judicial magistrate (ACJM) on Tuesday in connection with SP MLA Jawahar Yadav murder case.

ALLAHABAD: Former BSP MP Kapil Muni Karwaria and his brothers Suraj Bhan Karwaria and Ram Chandra alias Kallu surrendered before the court of additional chief judicial magistrate (ACJM) on Tuesday in connection with SP MLA Jawahar Yadav murder case. All the three were remanded to judicial custody and sent to jail by the ACJM.
Another brother of Kapil Muni, former BJP MLA Udai Bhan Karwaria is in jail in connection with this murder case.

Later, Karwari’a counsel moved a bail application before the court of additional sessions judge requesting him to release them on bail. The ASJ adjourned the hearing of bail application till Wednesday.
Arguing on behalf of Karwarias, their counsel Shitla Prasad Mishra had taken the plea that the applicants were falsely implicated in this murder case due to political rivalry. Secondly, this murder case had taken place long time back in 1996 and they were implicated in this case on fake grounds.
The sensational Jawahar Yadav murder case had taken place in the year 1996 in Civil Lines Allahabad. One Sulaki Yadav, the brother of Jawahar Yadav had lodged an FIR at Civil Lines police station naming Kapil Muni, his brothers Udai Bhan, Suraj Bhan and others as accused in this murder case.
Earlier, the proceedings of Jawahar Yadav murder case was stayed by the Allahabad High Court. However, the stay order was recently vacated by the high court. As a result, the trial of this murder case has now proceeded.
