JAMMU, Apr 28: A married woman today committed suicide by hanging self at her residence in Rajpura area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a woman identified as Vinu Kapoor (28) wife of Sunil Kapoor, a resident of Rajpura, allegedly hanged self with ceiling fan at her residence, this evening.
In serious condition, the family members immediately shifted the girl to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
The body of the deceased lady was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem.
A case in this regard has been regard at police station Bakshi Nagar and investigations started.
