MBABANE – Royal Leopard duo of Mxolisi ‘General’ Lukhele and Jerome Ntshalintshali are an injury concern for the police side ahead of their crucial match against DR Congo’s AS Vita.

Both players watched from the stands on Sunday when Leopard played Moneni Pirates in an MTN Premier League game at Prince of Wales Sports Ground.

Leopard PRO Frank Hurube confirmed yesterday.
“General’ has started light training but our doctors are still working on him to recover before the team leaves the country. We are also hopeful that Ntshalintshali will also be in a good condition ahead of our departure. Those are the only injury concerns that the team is facing ahead of the crucial game,” he said.

Hurube said they would like to have a full squad ahead of the game.
He said they were lucky on Sunday as there were no injuries after the game that ended in a 1-all draw.

“For now it is not easy for us to announce the squad that will be travelling to DR Congo as the two players and the others are still being assessed by our medical staff. We are hopeful that by Wednesday we will know the squad to travel with,” he said.

The match officials for the game will come from Eretria.
The referees are Luelseghed Ghebremichael, Angesom Ogbamariam W, Berhe O’michael and Hugush Abdelkader Berhan Mohammed.
