Rotary Club visits Bal Niketan

The Rotary Club Jammu today donated clothes and distributed food items among the inmates of the Bal Niketan.

The Rotary Club Jammu today donated clothes and distributed food items among the inmates of the Bal Niketan.

The function was presided over by club president Rakesh Gupta.

Members of the club spent time with the children and delighting them with songs, poems and jokes. They also distributed gifts and eatables among the children.

On the occasion, students of Bal Niketan, Ved Mandir, offered special prayers amid religious rituals and Vedic mantras.

Gupta in his address lauded the role and efforts of the Ved Mandir Committee in rehabilitating the poor and hapless boys and girls. He assured the committee of full support in future as well.

Charter president RK Chowhan, vice-president Rajesh Aggarwal, among others were also present on the occasion. — TNS
