CHERRY HILL, N.J., April 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, today announced that it is the recipient of the 2015 TNS Choice Award for Small Business Banking nationwide. The category includes financial institutions that provide small business products and services to businesses with annual sales up to $10 million.
Winners of TNS Choice Awards are determined by collecting data in a number of categories, including ability to attract and retain customers and win a larger share of their clients' banking business. TNS calculates an overall "competitive momentum score" using these metrics, and the award goes to the one provider with the highest score in each category.
"TD Bank provides a relationship-based, human approach to small business banking, which allows us to really get to know our clients and their needs," said Fred Graziano, Head of Regional Commercial Banking for TD Bank. "It is gratifying to see that this investment in each of our customers – whether brand-new or long-term – is reflected by TNS' recognition."
Global research consultancy TNS gives Choice Awards nationally and regionally in several categories. This is the first win for TD Bank.
"Success in today's competitive banking marketplace requires doing many things well – having the right products, offering the right customer experience, building a distinctive brand and communicating a credible and compelling message. TD Bank has put together a small business program that yields success across these areas and makes them stand out in the marketplace," said Michael Ennamorato, Managing Director at TNS.
