Jacqueline Fernandez debuts in Sri Lankan film industry

Jacqueline Fernandez is all set make her debut in the Sri Lankan film industry with According To Matthew, in which she plays the mistress of a murderous pastor.
The film, directed by Chandran Rutnam, is a thriller based on the life of Rev. Mathew Pieris, an Anglican pastor in Colombo.

Director Chandran says, "She's got the strut. When we're filming a particular shot, she moves and everything around her falls into place.I have already written another film in which Jacqueline is my heroine."
He adds, "On the first day of the shoot, I thought she'd never be able to pull off the role. But as we kept shooting I saw how vulnerable she was. She didn't have a starry attitude. Once we set the mood of the story, Jacky knew what was required. But she was also quirky and experimented with her lines."
