Karrueche Tran Wants To Be Halle Berry, Stars In ‘3-Headed Shark Attack’ Movie

Karrueche Tran might see her split from Chris Brown was the best thing that ever happened to her — she’s in such a good place right now that she’s aspiring to become the next Halle Berry.

According to TMZ, Karrueche Tran stars on an online soap opera called The Bay. The show recently scored a Daytime Emmy nomination, and being connected to a series that’s garnering critical acclaim could give Karrueche’s acting career a big boost. While she was leaving a party for The Bay, TMZ asked Chris Brown’s ex what she wants to do next.

According to Tran, she’s ready for her acting career to “blossom like a flower,” and she wants to make the move to doing movies.

“I wanna be like Halle Berry,” Tran said. However, the X-Men beauty isn’t her only favorite actress — she also admires The Avengers star Scarlett Johansson. Perhaps Karrueche Tran is hoping to play a superhero someday.

Karrueche recently got a little experience being an action star, but her foe wasn’t a Norse god, alien, or mutant human — it was a mutant, 3-headed shark. According to UPROXX, Karrueche was cast in a straight-to-DVD movie titled 3-Headed Shark Attack. The movie will premiere on the Syfy channel sometime during “Sharknado week,” which will run from July 18 to July 25 this year.

While Karrueche’s upcoming project sounds like it will be a d-movie disaster, at least she got to work with a beloved actor — she stars alongside Danny Trejo (a.k.a. Marcia Brady) in the sequel to 2-Headed Shark Attack. The third installment in the Sharknado franchise, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, will likely attract a lot of viewers, so perhaps Karrueche Tran’s shark movie will also get a bit of buzz. However, she’s still a long way away from Halle Berry.

After becoming shark chum, maybe Karrueche’s next role will be zombie bait. According to Perez Hilton, she was recently photographed getting friendly with The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus. Becoming pals with the most popular actor on one of the most popular shows on TV could definitely prove to be beneficial for Karrueche.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Karrueche Tran finally ditched Chris Brown for good last month after discovering that he fathered a child with another woman. Karrueche is obviously moving forward with her life by focusing on her acting career, but Breezy seems to be moving backward — there are rumors that he and Rihanna are seeing each other again. Tran seems pretty happy to be far removed from all that drama in the video below.
