London Broncos lost their 100 per cent home record in the Kingstone Press Championship with a 20-16 defeat by Dewsbury at The Hive to drop into the bottom half of the table.

The Broncos, who had former Great Britain coach Brian Noble adopting his new mentoring role, had led thanks to Ben Hellewell's early try, converted by Wes Naiqama, while Illies Macani touched down twice in the second half.

Karl Pryce, Kieran Hyde and Aaron Brown scored tries for the visitors, with Hyde and Tom Hemingway both kicking two goals.

Leaders Leigh extended their club-record winning run to 22 matches with a 10-try rout of Batley at Leigh Sports Village.

Winger Liam Kay extended his lead at the top of the Championship try-scoring chart with his 17th touchdown of the season but he was out-scored by scrum-half Ryan Brierley, who scored a first-half hat-trick in a 56-8 victory.

Adam Higson and Johnathan Pownall got two tries apiece and the Centurions' other scores came from tries by Tom Armstrong and Andrew Dixon, plus eight goals from Martyn Ridyard.

Bradford remain two points behind the leaders after extending their winning run to nine matches with a 56-38 triumph over bottom club Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Stand-off Lee Gaskell got three of the Bulls' 10 tries, extending his scoring run to seven successive matches, while Etu Uaisele and Dale Ferguson touched down twice and other tries came from Adam Henry, Paul Clough and Ryan Shaw, who also kicked eight goals for a personal haul of 20 points.

Former England winger Peter Fox scored two tries for Doncaster and others came from Mitch Clark, Pasqualle Dunn, Steve Snitch, Matt Groat and Michael Kelly but they could not prevent their side suffering a 14th straight defeat.

Sheffield Eagles stay third after a 36-10 win over Halifax in the second half of a double-header at the Keepmoat.

Winger Rob Worrincy scored a first-half hat-trick, full-back Quentin Laulu-Togagae scored a try in each half and the other came from Dominic Brambani, who also kicked five goals.

Richard Moore and Mitch Cahalane scored tries for Halifax, who drop to sixth in the table after a fifth defeat of the season.

Featherstone are up to fifth after producing a dominant second-half performance at Whitehaven to run out 36-12 winners.

The Cumbrians led 12-10 at the break thanks to tries from Grant Gore and Sam Brooks, both goaled by John Paul Brocklebank.

First-half tries from Thomas Minns and Paul Sykes had kept Rovers in touch and they both went on to double their tally after the break, while Gareth Moore also touched down twice and Jamie Cording added a sixth try five minutes from the end.

Centre Jimmy Keinhorst, playing on a dual registration from Leeds, scored two tries to help Hunslet to a 19-16 win over Workington at Derwent Park.

Jack Lee and Luke Briscoe also scored tries to help the Hawks into a 19-6 lead, although they were forced to sweat over the outcome as the home side launched a late fightback.

Brett Phillips and Jamie Doran touched down in the last quarter, adding to Latu Fifita's first-half try, but the Cumbrians had left themselves too much to do.
