Bournemouth and Middlesbrough were the only two Championship teams to have more than one player selected in the PFA Team of the Year for the second tier.

Cherries duo Simon Francis and Matt Ritchie were joined by Boro pair George Friend and Grant Leadbitter, while a host of other teams had one player selected.

Sheffield Wednesday keeper Keiren Westwood got the nod between the posts, with the Owls have equalling the club record for number of clean sheets in a single season with one game left to play.

Friend and Francis were joined by Norwich's Russell Martin and Derby's Richard Keogh in the back four.

Brentford's Alex Pritchard and Wolves' Bakary Sako joined Leadbitter and Ritchie in midfield, while Watford's Troy Deeney and Ipswich's Daryl Muprhy formed the strike force. There was no place for Boro's Chelsea loanee Patrick Bamford.
